Day 01
Leh Airport
- Arrive at Leh Airport (Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport) and transfer to your hotel.
- Check-in & Rest – Spend the day acclimatizing to the high altitude (11,500 ft) to avoid AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness).
- Light Activities – Stay hydrated, take short walks around the hotel, and enjoy a relaxing day.
- Optional Evening Stroll – If feeling well, explore the nearby Leh Market for a light walk and local sightseeing.
Day 02
Leh - Nubra
Embark on a breathtaking drive from Leh to Nubra Valley, crossing one of the highest motorable roads in the world and experiencing Ladakh’s stunning landscapes.
Journey Highlights:
- Khardung La Pass (17,982 ft) – Drive through one of the highest motorable passes, offering spectacular views of the snow-clad Karakoram Range.
- Deskit Monastery – Visit the largest and oldest monastery in Nubra, home to a majestic 106-ft Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the valley.
- Hunder Sand Dunes – Experience Ladakh’s unique cold desert, where you can enjoy a double-humped Bactrian camel ride.

Day 04
Pangong - Leh
On your way from Pangong to Leh via Chang La, you'll experience a mix of scenic landscapes, high-altitude terrain, and maybe some chilly temperatures. The drive is relatively challenging, so it’s important to pace yourself, especially after acclimatizing in Ladakh. The journey offers some amazing views, so you might want to stop for photos, but make sure to be cautious with altitude sickness and take plenty of breaks.
